Winter League will occur on Thursday evenings as usual, with games at 6:30pm at Southside Park (same place as Fall League 2011 and Jester Jam 2011). The regular season will run from December 15 to February 23, with the finals tournament on Saturday, February 25. Since Christmas and New Year's are on the weekends this year and won't directly interfere with Thursday games, we will not be taking any weeks off.
The team format will be pods, the same concept we used last winter. We use the pods as a good way to mix things up for the winter and keep things interesting. The idea is that there will be 12 pods, which are essentially half-teams. Each week, your pod will be randomly paired with one other pod and play your game against another random pair of pods. Over the course of the season, barring cancellations, you'll get to play with and against every other pod.
